Balochistan University Of Engineering & Technology Khuzdar Turbat Campus located on the outskirts of Khuzdar, often referred to as the heart of Balochistan. Established in 1987, the university is affiliated with the Pakistan Engineering Council and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

Originally a college and now recognized as a university, the institution is situated at the foothills of Khuzdar, spanning an expansive 200-acre campus. Moreover, the serene and peaceful environment makes the campus an ideal setting for academic and research activities. As a result, the university is renowned for providing high-quality technical and engineering education.

Its primary mission is to produce graduates with a solid foundation of knowledge and a wide range of technical experience. As a result, each year, skilled students graduate from Balochistan University, contributing to the nation’s development by working in both private and public sectors.

The university has a relatively small student body, with a total of 1,000 students enrolled 800 in undergraduate programs and 200 in postgraduate programs.

BUET has achieved significant milestones over the past nine years under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Brig (Retd) Mukhtar Ahmed. Furthermore, the university is recognized for its substantial contribution to the public engineering universities of Pakistan.

As a result, it produces highly skilled professionals and researchers with the potential to develop indigenous technologies.
