Balochistan University Of Information Technology & Management Sciences (BUITEMS) Quetta

The esteemed university is fully operational, offering outstanding higher education and research opportunities. Its constitutional bodies, including the Academic Council, Board of Advanced Studies, Senate, and Finance Committee, are structured in line with the 2007 Amendment Ordinance. These bodies are overseen by top-tier academicians, administrators, and educators. In March 2007, Engr. Ahmed Farooq assumed the role of Vice Chancellor, marking the beginning of a new phase of growth and success for the university.

There are 3 campuses accredited to the university. The first campus is the City Campus which comprises of:

1. Faculty of Management Science
2. Faculty of Biotechnology and Informatics
3. Faculty of Arts and Basic Sciences

The City Campus is located in the tranquil heart of Jinnah Town, away from the pollution and noise of the city. It offers a distraction-free and peaceful environment, ideal for learning. The three-story building houses faculty offices, spacious classrooms, a library, and an auditorium. The classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with modern learning technologies, including multimedia and networking tools.

• The Takatu Campus is home to the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology and the Faculty of Engineering. It serves as the central hub for major academic, administrative, and research activities. One of the standout features of the Takatu Campus is its Expo Center.
• The Expo Centre is an excellent venue for academic seminars, meetings, conventions, convocations, and exhibitions. Additionally, the state-of-the-art Petroleum Lab stands out as one of the key features of this campus.
• The Takatu Campus also features a well-equipped Textile Lab, which is a major attraction for textile engineers. In addition, the campus is home to advanced, state-of-the-art IT labs and other specialized laboratories.
• The Chiltan Campus hosts research forums and advanced labs for the Faculty of Life Sciences and Informatics.
• The facilities across the different campuses are accessible to all students. Special transportation services are also provided, running between the City Campus and Takatu Campus.
