University of Engineering and Technology Taxila Chakwal Campus

The University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila (UET Taxila), was established in 1975. In 2005, its first campus was inaugurated in Chakwal, which has since enrolled students in Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering for around five sessions. The sub-campus is located in the heart of Chakwal city, within the old Kachehri complex on Talagang Road. UET Taxila’s Chakwal sub-campus offers four-year undergraduate programs in Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering. In the second phase, the sub-campus plans to launch three additional departments. With support from the Higher Education Commission, degree programs in Electrical, Mechanical, and Gas & Petroleum Engineering will also be introduced.

The Campus Director, under the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor of UET Taxila, serves as the executive and academic head of the Sub-Campus Chakwal. The rules and regulations of UET Taxila are implemented at the Chakwal sub-campus. Additionally, UET Taxila is planning to establish a campus in Pind Dadan Khan, located in the Jhelum District.
