In October 2002, University Of Engineering & Technology UET( Abbottabad Campus ) inaugurated by the Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, in the old premises of Ayub Medical College. Abbottabad became famous as the city of schools and colleges.

People from all parts of the country prefer sending their children to study at reputed educational institutions in Abbottabad, such as Army Burn Hall, Abbottabad Public School, and COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, due to its pleasant climate.

The establishment of a UET Peshawar campus in Abbottabad has not only fulfilled a longstanding public demand but also boosted the city’s reputation as a center of learning.
